Privacy Policy

iDeliverLocal handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Customers: name, email, phone, pick-up and drop-off addresses (suburb and postcode), job details and photos. Providers: business and contact details, ABN, insurance details and certificates, service areas, payout details (held by Stripe). We also collect technical data such as IP address (for security and to record acceptance of terms). If you arrive from an ad, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and similar tools to measure the effectiveness of our advertising; these use cookies and may share browsing data with Meta.

How we use it

To run the marketplace: alert Providers in the relevant area, share your job details (and, after payment, your contact details) with the Provider you choose, process payments, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We may send service emails about your job. We send marketing only with consent and you can unsubscribe at any time (Spam Act 2003).

Who we share it with

Providers you transact with, Stripe (payments), our hosting and email providers, and authorities where required by law. Some of these providers may store data overseas.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information. Insurance certificates are stored privately. We keep job records for at least 7 years for tax and legal purposes.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct your information by emailing jarrod0011@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
